Week Calendar View for iOS

Week Calendar View for iOS

Have you ever been frustrated with the fact that iOS’s default Calendar application doesn’t have a week view? Look no further, for the small price of $1.99 you can add this functionality to your iPhone! Worried about it not interacting with your current synced services such as MobileMe or Google Sync? Don’t worry, it also utilizes your already syncing calendars. A new API in iOS 4 has the ability for third party applications to access native calendar data. The application is pretty basic, it provides a very minimalist week long calendar and offers very few settings to choose from.

Attic for iPhone [Review]

Attic for iPhone [Review]

If you love my music like I do, you are constantly updating your music library with new artists and classic songs you can’t believe you
forgot to throw on your iPod Touch or iPhone already. In the process of trying to stay ahead of the musical curve I often find myself
neglecting some incredible music for extended periods of time and as much as I love being in the know with whats breaking in music I also have a soft spot for what I consider the classics. Attic app helps you never lose track of your music by dusting off some the albums you may have forgotten, slaps them in your face with a beautiful UI and creates playlists that reunite you with music you probably never intended to neglect.

Mailroom for iPhone App Review

Mailroom for iPhone App Review

Over the course of the last few major iOS updates Apple has gotten a lot right with its stock mail.app. That being said, there are still some things left lacking for Gmail users. I have had a Gmail account since it’s early beta stages and really do consider it to be the best of the best in free Email accounts. Mailroom is the app for Gmail users like me. If you have one, two or several accounts or a Google Apps account for your website this is the app for you. $2.99 may seem a little steep for a mail application but if you really need it this app is well worth every penny.

Weather Snitch for iPhone App Review

Weather Snitch for iPhone App Review

One of the first things I fell in love with when I purchased my iPhone
was the stock weather app. Simple and straight to the point was fine
for the first few days of owning my iPhone but the thing about weather
is it is never simple and straight to the point. My next weather app
was Outside which is a great looking app but pretty slow to launch and
seems to go down all the time. Last week I stumbled upon Weather
Snitch and it has been a match made in heaven ever since.

MiCal for iPhone App [Review]

MiCal for iPhone App [Review]

One of the greatest parts of owning any smart phone is the ability to
keep your life centered and organized. One of the biggest problems
with most smart phones is the way they leave you lacking in the
default calendar app department. The stock Apple iPhone calendar app
is nice and has gotten progressively better with it’s syncing
abilities, but it still leaves me,and probably you, wanting more. I have
been using Calvetica for the past couple of months and although I
don’t see it leaving my iPhone anytime soon, miCal is giving it some
stiff competition.
