Paperless: Lists + Checklists for iPhone App Review

Paperless: Lists + Checklists for iPhone App Review

Sometimes I want an app to do one thing really well. Seems pretty obvious, right? Well, in the world of iPhone apps this seems like an
art only reserved for the best of designers. I make a lot of check lists for the sake of keeping my life organized. Yes, the iPhone does have a nice note taking app that comes free with the phone but to be honest I don’t want to have to pull up the keyboard every time I check something off. Paperless is the solution I have been looking for. The app is designed to do two things, make checklists and lists. In the process it makes them functional and form fitting for the iPhone and in my opinion this app should be on every iPhone.

Notica for iPhone – The Best Picture Note-Taking App Ever

Notica for iPhone – The Best Picture Note-Taking App Ever

Has this ever happened to you? You see something really cool, and instantly think of someone you want to share that item with? This
happens to me quite often. I go out and see an amazing product, snap a picture on my iPhone and than carry on with what I am doing. By the time I get to my friend I have forgotten where I saw the item in question or how much it costs. I could snap a picture and than open up my Notes app to record all this info or I can open up Notica. Notica is your visual memory companion. Not only does it save pictures but it also allows you to add a note and use your iPhone’s GPS to mark the location, all for $2.99.

Swankolab for iPhone – Another Hit From Synthetic Infatuation

By: Aaron Hipstamatic has quickly become one of the most beloved iPhone photography apps in the app store. Swankolab is the next great photography app, (right from the guys who brought us Hipstamatic) and to be frank, they have done it again! Swankolab is the dark room of yesterday brought to the phone of today. With the sounds of [...]

Terminology PH for iPhone – The Best Literary Resource Ever

Terminology PH for iPhone – The Best Literary Resource Ever

Let me start here, the iPhone should have come with a dictionary app. Lately I have taken to reading the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky and I find it useful to have dictionary handy for some the bigger words. There are many options for dictionaries on the iPhone like Dictionary.com’s iPhone app but these apps are limited at best. Terminology PH is the not only the best dictionary app available but in my opinion, it is the dictionary app Apple should have made. Terminology for iPhone is more than just a dictionary, it’s a complete literary resource.

PocketGuitar transforms your iPhone into a strummable guitar filled with different sounds and effects. Droplr for iPhone – A Sweet Alternative To Dropbox

Droplr for iPhone – A Sweet Alternative To Dropbox

Recently I have become a huge fan of Droplr. Droplr deems itself as the best way to share and files from your Mac on the internet. I have used Dropbox and Box.com and even though I do like these services I find them both lacking in the looks department and let’s face it, part of the reason we own Macs and iPhone’s is because we care about looks. Droplr is a free web service (the iPhone app does cost a whopping $3.99 though) that allows file sharing, picture sharing, note and code sharing, screenshot sharing all wrapped up in a nice 1 GB sized storage space.

The Cartographer for iPhone – A Gorgeous Way To Share Your Adventures

The Cartographer for iPhone – A Gorgeous Way To Share Your Adventures

Check in apps are some my favorite apps on my iPhone. I use Facebook’s checkin platform, Gowalla, Foursquare and SCVNGR each for different reasons. Facebook and Foursquare have lots of deals, Gowalla and SCVNGR create fun social themed games through check ins but none of these apps allows you to create your own easily shareable journey. For those who travel often and want to share there journeys “The Cartographer” is here to fill the void. The Cartographer is beautiful, easy to use app that allows you to edit and share Google maps for any journey you may go on. The Cartographer syncs brilliantly with Google Maps allowing you to edit on the go in a easy and familiar way.

Dayta For iPhone App [Review]

Dayta For iPhone App [Review]

Let’s say you are like me and you like to keep track of random things. Maybe it’s your kill to death ratio on the hot new first person shooter or maybe it’s how many cigarettes you smoked in given day. Whatever it is, if you are like me, you want to track it and track in super sexy iPhone way. Dayta makes this happen. Dayta is the best data tracking app I have found. To be honest, I didn’t find many and once I found Dayta I didn’t need to look any further.

Deliveries Status Touch for iPhone – A Great Way To Track Packages

Deliveries Status Touch for iPhone – A Great Way To Track Packages

I spent a lot of time searching for a good shipment tracking app for my iPhone. There are several free apps but they all seem to be to limited in their scope or just all together lacking. I order a lot of stuff online and as much as I like the official UPS and FEDEX apps along with the USPS app I do not want, or need, three different apps for delivery dates. Delivery Status Touch is the absolute best tracking app available for the iPhone and although the price is a little high chiming in at $4.99 I fully believe this app to be worth the cost.

Phoster for iPhone Brings The Magic of Poster Creation To Your iPhone

Phoster for iPhone Brings The Magic of Poster Creation To Your iPhone

There seems to be an app for “that”,whatever “that” may be. An app for ordering food? Done. An app for discovering new music? Done. An app for making an awesome poster? Done – Welcome to Phoster for iPhone! Phoster is the first poster creation app for the iPhone. It’s a beautiful app that allows you to make beautiful posters in a few easy steps. It’ll run you $1.99, a price that I really cannot complain about, now that I’ve experienced how useful it really is.
