Snaptu Will Make iPhone Users Want A BlackBerry

One of the main issues I have with my BlackBerry Bold is its small amount of application memory. What this means for me is that the vast majority of apps that I download, are deleted within 24 hours. I download them, check them out, and if they are not exciting to me, I delete them. Not only did I not delete Snaptu, but I put it on my main home screen, and use it daily. It completely changed the way I use the mobile Web on my BlackBerry.

Reebok has joined forces with Digital design studio ustwo™ in collaboration with leading mobile marketing agency Inside Mobile to develop an iPhone app that offers consumers exclusive promotions on Reebok merchandise. The name of the game is iSprint and it is available in the App Store for free. iSprint turns your iPhone/iPod Touch into a 100 meter racetrack, offering you the ability to race against the game or to pair the device via bluetooth with another iPhone, and race against a friend. This is actually one of the first iPhone apps to offer such a feature.

With the release of Ping! it looks like RIM’s Blackberry has nothing that the Apple iPhone hasn’t got! Ping!, which has been available in the App Store since the beginning of October, is an iPhone-to-iPhone messaging system equivalent to BBM (Blackberry Messenger). It is based on Apple Push Notification Service which uses push technology to forward notifications from 3rd party servers to iPhone or iPod touch connected to the internet (Check out Nimbuzz for another great use of Push Notification).
