Tune Finder 2 Keeps You up to Date with Your Favorite Artists

Tune Finder 2 Keeps You up to Date with Your Favorite Artists

Keeping up to date with your artists in your iTunes library is a hard task. If you have a large music library, like myself, finding out when the next album by your favorite band comes out is sometimes impossible. Knowing what albums you’re missing from your collection can also be a difficult task. Searching on Google or on the iTunes store does work however, if you have 500 artists or so, it’s going to take way too much time. I only have time to search up my favorite bands like The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. I mean… *Coughs.* Anyways, I have a possible solution for you which comes in the form of an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Ocarina for iPhone – Video Review

Ocarina for iPhone – Video Review

Ocarina is an instrument for the iPhone based of the original ocarina: a small flute like instrument with an opening to blow through and four holes which can be covered to produce different notes. Ocarina was one of the first popular iPhone applications, praised by many like David Pogue and included on Apple’s All-Time Top Apps. I’m sure many of you have heard of it before and like me, have owned it for a long time, however, the apple iDevice nation is always growing and quality apps like this drop off the charts only being enjoyed by original users. Ocarina is currently $0.99 in the App Store and is meant for the iPhone. Video review after the break!

Hipstamatic for iPhone – Video Review

Hipstamatic for iPhone – Video Review

Lo-Fi photography with plastic cameras has created a sort of cult following over the past few years. Companies likeLomography and Holga have become very popular with their many cheap plastic film cameras which produce unpredictable vintage photographs. As a owner of a lomography camera myself, I can say that this type of photography is addictive and although I love the efficiency of digital cameras, the unpredictability of plastic cameras is an adventure. Thirty years ago, a small company in Wisconsin released 200 cameras with interchangeable lenses and multiple film formats called Hipstamatics. Most of these cameras have been lost over time but analog photography still lives on. A digital reproduction of this camera has now been brought to the iPhone. Hipstamatic is $1.99 and $0.99 for each additional lenses/film kit bought in-app. A video review of the app after the break!

Apps with new, totally original ideas in the App Store is a rare occurrence. Most apps you’ll find have a number of other apps doing the similar, or even the exact same thing. This isn’t exactly a bad thing however. Similar apps create competition and the consumer has a variety of choices to find their perfect app. Mega Jump is an unoriginal, copycat game to apps like Doodle Jump or Papi Jump. But, it’s a heck of a lot fun, super addicting and done so well, you’ll be playing for hours. Mega Jump will cost you $0.99. Video after the break!

Angry Birds Video Review

Angry Birds Video Review

Angry Birds has been a huge success being the number one paid app in over twenty-six countries. It’s a feature filled game with 105 levels for the low price of $0.99. The game-play is simple. The pigs have taken your eggs, and you, the birds are angry. Very angry. You must now launch yourself at the pigs in their structures and blow them up to pass the level. The pigs hide in a variety of households made of glass, wood and metal. Sounds simple, and it’s true, the game involves a lot of luck but it’s super addicting. As the game goes on, you are presented with new birds to use such as blue birds that split into three when you tap the screen, yellow ones which gain a boost, black ones which explode and white ones which drop explosive eggs. Angry Birds has loads of personality with it’s fun sounds, designs and simple but clean graphics. Video after the break!
