You might recall that Nokia announced a new breakthrough in the world of mobile photography back in Mobile World Congress 2012. They called it the Pureview 808 cameraphone and they wowed everyone with its 41 megapixel sensor.

Once everyone’s amazement cooled down a bit, most people were just left with one question. “Wait, how many megapixels does it have??!!”

Well, Nokia just released a short (ish) documentary about the Nokia 808 Pureview. If you are a photography or mobile enthusiast, you are going to find this pretty interesting.

The device is set to launch later this month in multiple locations with a 4-inch 16:9 nHD (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED screen, 1.3GHz single-core SoC, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. So what is the catch? Why will this phone not sell like hot cakes?

Oh, there is a catch and it’s called Symbian. Yes, that is the operating system this bad boy runs and that is what will most likely hold it back from achieving greatness.

    Enjoy the video.
