Whether you are an iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, or some other platform user, you cannot deny that if there is one thing Apple does well, it’s marketing. You know, the ability to market the heck out of a device that is thicker and heavier than its predecessor and then sell millions of it. Kidding, I love my “New iPad”.
Or the ability to convince tens of millions of consumers to upgrade a phone to a new one because it talks to you, except it doesn’t do it very well because it’s in Beta. Kidding, I love my iPhone 4S…
Anyway, we have addressed Siri and the way Apple is aggressively marketing it before, but Apple just stepped it up a notch. Some new ads appearing on TV seem to imply that Apple is stepping away from its traditional TV ads, that generally focus on the product, and taking the more, how should I call it, “normal” route by using celebrities to sell its products.
The two videos below include Siri ads starring Samuel L. Jackson and Zooey Deschanel. Well, knowing Apple, there is a good chance we will start seeing many more ads like this in the coming months.
Oh and it wasn’t long before the parodies began. See the third video below of Samuel L. Jackson playing the part of Siri but beware of some NSFW language.
