You Knew it Was Coming! The Nook Tablet vs Kindle Fire Drop Test (VIDEO)

I am not sure if it is our love for destruction or the practicality of knowing which devices are most durable, but drop test videos are always fun to watch. I mean, they are fun besides that split second when the new gadget hits the concrete. That is when the geek in me cringes and cries inside at the thought that I could have been the proud owner of the geeky toy that was just shattered for our sheer entertainment.
OK, so drop tests are enjoyable, but creating a site almost exclusively dedicated to such tests, well that takes geek to a whole new level. Gizmoslip has reviews too, but from the looks of it, the new site will have a lot more drop tests than the normal once in a blue moon…
Of course, the creators of the site must have realized that bloggers like myself would eat that stuff up and repost the video, so kudos on the smart idea…
And now without further ado, the moment we have all been waiting for (no, not really, I just always wanted to say that), the drop test of the new Nook tablet vs the Kindle Fire, two of the hottest mini tablets of this holiday season. Any guesses who takes this contest before hitting play?
There is actually a lot of logic behind the winner. One has glass that is at the same level as the rest of the tablet and one has raised plastic to protect the device from such falls. Come on, you call yourself a geek? You should know this!!
