Label Box For iPhone Spices Up Your iPhone Pictures For Free
Sometimes the best things in life are free. Sometimes they are simple, yet fun. Sometimes both of these worlds collide in the form of a free iPhone app and that is always a good thing, for the consumers at least. Recently, the iPhone became the number one camera used to take pics posted to the popular photo sharing site Flickr, and with the amount of people choosing to leave their point and shoot cameras at home in exchange for their smart phones, there is always room for creative ways to spice up those photos. Label Box for iPhone does just that, for the superb price of free!
I know I’m not the only one who leaves their Canon point and shoot camera at home and relies on their iPhone 4 instead. Label Box is a free iPhone app that allows you to add labels to your pictures. Yes, that is it and it is awesome when you actually use it. When I was younger I had a label gun and as simple as it was, typing in my name or a witty phrase, it was hours and hours of fun. With all the polaroid style apps available in the App Store it’s nice to customize your polaroid with a well done, stylish label that adds to that old school feel. Label Box is a very well done app, and there’s no doubt about it.
The user interface is gorgeous and the ease of use is effortless. You simply choose a pic, select the style of label you desire and type in a message, date, or whatever your heart desires. The app comes with nine tapes including masking tape, sticky tape, ribbons, candy wrappers and also four more cloth labels available through an in app purchase. The type tool allows you type side to side or up and down depending on the direction of the tape you place.
I really like this ability as it a nice change to apply your tape vertically for a slightly different feel. If you don’t want to add text, you can also create a very unique border by simply lining up your picture with the tapes provided. Another nice touch is the use of the Steply network. Steply allows you to see what apps others are using to share their photos and also share your photos and app information. Label Box is lots of fun for anyone who wants to spruce up their pics without breaking the bank and with that said, there are lots of apps that do the same thing as Label Box, but none are as fun to look at and most are not free.
