iPhone Apps for Movie Buffs – The Scene It? Collection
Movie fans will love the collection of apps from the makers of the popular DVD board game, Scene It?. In the same spirit of the traditional game, but sized-down for your iPhone, Scene It? is available in six (discovered so far) different apps: Movies, Comedy Movies, Horror, Twilight, Harry Potter, and 30 Rock.
Scene It? Movies

The Scene It? app for Scene It? purists, the Movies app behaves like the DVD game you know and love, and includes puzzles and trivia from Hollywood’s last three decades. Watch movie clips, view images, and solve puzzles – just as you would with the DVD game.
Scene It? Comedy Movies

Just like the classic movies app, but limited to comedy movies only – this app is perfect if the humor genre is your area of expertise. Available on the iPhone and the iPad, this would make an excellent party game.
Scene It? Twilight

TwiHards, rejoice! There’s a Scene It? app just for you, complete with images of sexy vampires and trivia about quotes, facts, and the characters.

My personal favorite of all the Scene It? apps is the 30 Rock app. I love the audio soundbites, clips of scenes and the titles of the games themselves are great nods to the show and all its hilarity. Even better? You can challenge friends to the game with the multi-player setting.
Scene It? Harry Potter

Same idea as the other ones, and this one has great reviews to boot. On the iTunes download site, users said that this app is a “must-have” for any Harry Potter fan, and that the variety of the movie clips and word games is a great source of entertainment for quite sometime.
Scene It? Horror

The scariest of the Scene It? apps, this one delivers in trivia, clips, and puzzles for the horror genre aficionado. Reviews aren’t quite as glowing for this as the others, but the core game itself is worth a round or two.

If I could suggest new categories for the Scene It? folks, I’d suggest a Sex and the City and Friends edition, though there are all kinds of trivia apps around those two shows available already. However, I still think these should exist. What would you add?
