Notica for iPhone – The Best Picture Note-Taking App Ever
Has this ever happened to you? You see something really cool, and instantly think of someone you want to share that item with? This
happens to me quite often. I go out and see an amazing product, snap a picture on my iPhone and than carry on with what I am doing. By the time I get to my friend I have forgotten where I saw the item in question or how much it costs. I could snap a picture and than open up my Notes app to record all this info or I can open up Notica. Notica for iPhone is your visual memory companion. Not only does it save pictures, but it also allows you to add a note and use your iPhone’s GPS to mark the location, all for $2.99.
When you fire up Notica you are greeted with stacks of “Cards”. These cards are your memories and the stacks provide an easy and funtional way to store them. Each stack is customizable including the name and picture that rests on top of the pile. The all notecard stack is all your items in one place while surrounding it are all the other custom stacks you have created.
To create a new one, you push the write button located in the bottom right of the app. Once you have pressed the button you are greeted with the customization screen for your new Note. First you pick the group you want it to be filed in or create a new group. Next you are greeted with the time and date, I don’t know why you would need to but you can change the time and date from the current date to a future or previous date.
Next up is location, you can either allow your phone to find your current location or input it manually. After that there is a text box for key information about what is going on. At the bottom of the page is the photo/movie spot. You can either import a picture or video from your camera roll or use the built in camera. All these steps can be done in any order. If you want to take the picture first you can, jot down the note first, you can.
Once you have finished and saved the Note you can keep is stored away for future reference or email it a friend. When you email a Notica note it sends the note in a format very similar to that of the app which, if I say so myself, looks beautiful.
Notica is not the first app to offer this kind of functionality, but I can honestly say that it does it the best. Notica for iPhone is $2.99 in the app
