Dialvetica for iPhone – The Easy Way To Call, Text, or Email Your Contacts

With every great technological breakthrough comes the desire for things to just work faster. Every new computer comes with more and more RAM, smart phones come with bigger and more powerful processors and apps come with more and more clever ways to get you to what you need to do faster. Dialvetica for iPhone is all about speed. Simply put, Dialvetica is an app that you can use to talk to your contacts much faster. It does something your iPhone should automatically do for you – put your most contacted contacts at the top of the long list of others, and allows quick access to it. Dialvetica is not a contact manager, but rather steroids for your contact book.
Dialvetica is by the same guys who made Calvetica, the best calendar app for the iPhone, period. The app is similar to Calvetica in that is simple and precise highlighting the beauty that is Helvetica (a popular font) while packing a punch of great features. Dialvetica gets you to your contacts in three keyboard clicks.
Step one is as simple as typing the first few characters of your contacts name using the custom QWERTY keyboard or the default iPhone keyboard. Allowing the use of the iPhones default keyboard adds lots of international features and language support for those who are not native English speakers.
After you type in a few characters the names begin to pop up, and that is where you make your next choice. In the preferences for the app you can set up what you want clicking the persons name to do, email, text or place a phone call. I have mine set to email so that is what happens if I simply tap the contacts name.
To the right, there are two symbols, one shaped like a phone to make a phone call, and another shaped like the @ symbol to shoot a text. That’s it folks. Super fast connections to all the people you contact the most. One tap on the Dialvetica keyboard is equal to pushing five in the standard Contacts app and that my friends is just awesome.
The app does something most apps fail to do – it actually listens to what you want to do and in turn remembers for the next launch. I contact a group of about eight people weekly and now Dialvetica has them locked in to the top eight places making emailing, texting and calling fast!
Dialvetica is $1.99 in the app store, and I recommend this app who is frequently in touch with their contacts, as this will make your life much easier, go check it out!
