Deliveries Status Touch for iPhone – A Great Way To Track Packages
I have spent a lot of time searching for a good shipment tracking app for my iPhone. There are several free apps available, but they all seem to be to limited in their scope or just all together lacking. I order a lot of stuff online and as much as I like the official UPS, FEDEX, and USPS apps, I do not want, or need, three different apps for delivery dates. Delivery Status Touch is the absolute best tracking app available for the iPhone and although the price is a little high, chiming in at $2.99, I fully believe this app to be worth the cost.
First off, the app is very easy on the eyes. The developers put a lot of time into creating a beautiful app. The interface is clear, and unlike all the other tracking apps I have tried, organized – it is not cluttered in any way, which is great. The app is simple to use and set up. If you have a June Cloud account you can easily input your tracking information from any web browser. If not, all you need is found within the app.
Like most productivity apps the first thing you want to do is push the “+” in the upper right hand corner. After pressing the “+” you are taken to the information screen where you start by entering who is delivering your package. The app supports from UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, TNT, Canada Post, City Link, Royal Mail, DPD and a plethora more.
Once you have picked where the package is coming from you input in the name of the item you are receiving and the tracking number. That’s it. The app loads the information and after a few seconds you are in business. The home screen for the app will have all your deliveries labeled with the colors of the delivery company. UPS has its familiar brown while FEDEX has its purple.
As you continue to check back in with the app you will updated on how many days you have to wait before receiving that super cool item you ordered. One of my favorite things about this app is the ability to check on the map just how close your package is. You also have the option to share the order via email. I am not exactly sure why you would want to share a delivery, but hey, I am sure someone wants/needs this option, so there it is.
Delivery Status Touch is a classy app that completely blows away all the competition. Check it out in the app store for $2.99, I highly recommend it if you frequently order items online!
