Phoster for iPhone Brings The Magic of Poster Creation To Your iPhone
There seems to be an app for “that”,whatever “that” may be. An app for ordering food? Done. An app for discovering new music? Done. An app for making an awesome poster? Done – Welcome to Phoster for iPhone! Phoster is the first poster creation app for the iPhone. It’s a beautiful app that allows you to make beautiful posters in a few easy steps. It’ll run you $1.99, a price that I really cannot complain about, now that I’ve experienced how useful it really is.
Step one, pick your template. Phoster comes loaded with a ton of very professional looking poster layouts to choose from. Each template has its own quirks so you have plenty of directions to go in. Once you upload your picture,which becomes the the background for most of the templates, you can begin adding text. Text is placement specific but still has lots of customization available in the form of size, and color. Some templates contain more text than others.
Step two, pick your filter. One of my favorite things about this app is the after effects. The app is full of great filters that give you the feel of anything from a professional concert poster to a crumbled up house party poster vibe. I have used this app to make several Facebook event avatars and love the feel and touch they add to my parties.
Step three,pick how you want it exported. A newer component to the app is the ability to export in full quality which makes for one might nice poster. You can post your finished poster to Facebook,Twitter or Tumblr and also have the ability to email it for printing needs.
At first glance this might not seem like an app you need but I am here to tell you otherwise. I have used this to update the look of my Facebook and Twitter avatars. I have used it like I mentioned before for my Facebook events and I also plan on using this in the future for birthday parties and get together’s. Phoster is not just another new photo app that you will forget about in a week. Oh no, It is much more than that! It’s beautiful to look at, easy to use, and the devs behind it have released three updates in the last month, only making the app that much better.
