1Password for iPhone App Review
Are you a fan of 1password for your mac? Looking to have the same experience on the go? 1Password for iPhone is great for just that. You can enter passwords for all your accounts, without ever having to memorize them. This allows you to have added security (tougher passwords). All this for a price of $6.99, review below!
If you aren’t familiar with 1password, it basically allows you to store all your passwords in one place. The application itself is very secure, whether you’re on your mac or your iPhone. You have to set two unlock codes for it. One is the normal unlock code, and the other is a master code. This assures that anybody who uses your iDevice will not steal your confidential information.
Once you have 1password, you can set a very long, secure pass code without having to bear the pain of memorizing it. That was so 1990, wasn’t it? Simply unlock the app and look at the password you set, it’s really not a pain (even though it sounds like it).
There is a huge assortment of passwords that you can add into the application, including: Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Gmail, Paypal, Wells Fargo, and Yahoo. These were just some of the popular templates built into the application. You are not limited to only these in any way.
Not only can you add passwords in the application, but notes as well. This makes the app great for storing all sorts of confidential info, just be careful when setting your unlock code and master passcode!
Although on the expensive side of the App Store, 1password is perfect for anyone looking to step up their security without having to go through the trouble of memorizing all your passwords. We recommend it! There’s also a pro version of it for $15. Better safe than sorry, right? Let us know how you like the app, drop a comment below!
