Paper Toss World Tour Will Keep You Coming Back For More
I’m sure at one point of your lifetime, you’ve tossed a paper ball into the recycle bin, whether as a student, or as an adult. I know personally, as a student, that I always do this if I have no need for a used piece of paper. Paper Toss World Tour for the iPhone provides a similiar experience on the go, for 99 cents. This may seem quite silly, but I assure you it’s not.

Many iPhone and iPod Touch users (that I know) are already familiar with this game, however, most of them are using the free version. This article will cover the paid version and help you make the decide as to whether it is worth your hard earned money or not.
As the name suggests, Paper Toss World Tour features a variety of locations to play in, including Taj Mahal, a baseball field, and the beach, as a few examples. All the maps available are shown in the picture above. Obviously, this is why the name is “World Tour.”
If you’ve ever played the free version of paper toss, you’ll be quite accustomed to the World Tour edition of it. It’s essentially the same with a lot of extra locations, such as this one. Notice how the trash bin is farther away. The levels continuously get harder and harder, meaning the bin goes farther and farther away.
If you haven’t tried out the free version of the game, you really should. The concept is quite simple and enjoyable. You have a paper ball, and the objective of the game is to toss it into the waste basket. Although this sounds easy, I assure you it is not. There are many things that make it much more difficult for you to make it in.
One is the distance, if you haven’t noticed yet. The more levels you unlock, the farther the waste bin is. The farther your waste bin is, the harder it is to accurately aim and make it in successfully.
Another factor is the wind speed. It can vary from .50 to 5.5, and the white arrow shows which way it is going towards. In the earlier stages of the game, the arrow is pointing only left and right, however, once you become more advanced, you will have to play with winds heading north, or upwards, and south, or downwards.
The controls of the game are not complex at all, and anyone can easily catch on to it. The only thing you, as an end user, can do is toss the paper ball. To do so, you flick your finger upwards in the direction of your choice. The direction that you flick towards is the direction it will go, and this is where the wind comes in. If the wind is heading to the right by .5, you will want to flick your finger slightly to the left of the basket. If it’s heading to the right by 5.5, you will want to flick your finger all the way to the left side of the screen. This whole thing sounds quite difficult to catch on to, but I assure you that it is not.
Paper Toss World Tour is a great iPhone app, and one of my favorites for it’s simplicity and level of enjoyment that it provides.
All in all, it’s a keeper. At a mere 99 cents, you don’t want to miss out on this game. It’s one of the best games you can buy for the price, in my opinion. Definitely check it out! If you’re hesitant, you may want to check out the free version of the game before purchasing.
