Nimbuzz: The Mobile Market’s Number One IM/VOIP Client

Nimbuzz has become a market leader in the mobile IM/VOIP space. Their wide variety of applications is always on the very edge of the newest technology, and their iPhone app is no different. The app is as clean and easy to use as apps get and it supports all the IM networks you can imagine. This includes AIM, MSN, Gtalk, Yahoo, Facebook, MySpace, ICQ, GaduGadu, and Skype, which actually gives them an edge over some of their competition. Their newest version includes full support for push notifications, which means that the lack of background capabilities offered by the iPhone is solved through the ability to receive real time notifications if someone writes to you on any of your IM networks.
So Nimbuzz is another IM client? That’s it? Well that’s the thing, there is a lot more. Not only does Nimbuzz compete for the number one spot among the many IM apps for the iPhone, it might just be the number one VOIP app as well. With Nimbuzz, you can use your iPhone/iPod Touch to make free calls using Skype, Gtalk, MSN, or Yahoo Messenger over Wifi. It gets better. You can also use different VOIP clients to make discounted international calls. These include Skype Out, Gizmo5, and many others.
Like I said, the Nimbuzz iPhone interface is clean and fun, with the ability to use the iPhone’s built in accelerometer to type in a wide easy-to-use landscape keyboard.
It seems that the staff over at Nimbuzz never rests with new additions to their app portfolio every day. Their latest additions include an Android app, as well as Mac application, not to mention their Web-based IM environment, which puts them up against companies like Meebo. When it comes to instant messenger, Nimbuzz is number one, no matter what platform you happen to be using, with the iPhone app leading the pack. Finally, another characteristic that makes Nimbuzz into the market leader they are, is their outstanding customer support team, which listens carefully to what people are saying on the various social networks, such as Twitter, and implements feedback instantly.
OK, so here is the kicker, Nimbuzz, on all the various platforms, is a free download, making it an absolute must have. Bottom line is, if you just got an iPhone (or an Android device, Mac, or PC for that matter), Nimbuzz should definitely be one of the first apps you install.
